The only surviving Microsoft system in the household is the XP box in the living room, mainly used for viewing the, for all practical purposes, Microsoft only content provided by the state media post-monopoly of our homeland.
After some very important Sunday night updates to my web presence (article thumbnails), I decided to include Google’s Chrome browser in my browser testing. What shiny coolness! Just a look at this here inspector window:
List of resources with load times, direct access to content, interactive javascript… If there isn’t a port coming soon, I might have to keep my Microsoft box around
The Explorer test was a laugh as usual. Antialiasing of bitmaps was apparently deemed too difficult for Redmond, and the javascript engine must be for v0.0b or something. Scary to think of how much time is wasted to make things work on that piece of crap.
