I’m doing the annual report on my grant – in openOffice, of course. This is my only time of year when I touch a spreadsheet, and as always I got annoyed by openOffice Calc plopping up a big menu when I press delete. But this year I decided to find the right way to delete:
It’s simple actually:
- Press
Deleteand you get the menu - Press
Backspaceand you just delete!
Apparently, it’s the other way around in Excel. You can of course change the Calc configuration if your brain is stuck.
